Threatening Phone Calls

I have been receiveing threatening phone calls from someone that says they are collecting for Quick Cash.net. I have never had any loans with them. They are saying that I have 3 felonies against me and that I need a layer to go to a court house and bail me out of jail. When I asked for the information to call Quick Cash.net they could not give it to me. When I asked how much my supposed loan was they could not give me that. When they asked for my social so they could verify that I told them to tell me what you have and I will verify if that is correct. They gave the wrong 4 and I told them so and they were very mad. They called me a liar and everything. They have just called and I answered the phone and wehnt hey asked for me I told them (Pretending to be my boss) that I had been fired. HE asked what I meant.. I explained that i had been fired from my job. HE said "Oh GOd" and hung up. What does that mean. AM I really in toruble for something? I am in Louisville KY.

No, you aren't in trouble, this is a scam! You did the right thing by telling them you were fired! Don't even give these people the time of day, they are scam artists (or would like to think so). File a complaint against them with the FTC, BBB and your AG. These complaints are VERY important, the more we get the word out about scams like this, the less people who will be affected by t!
