I got a Warrant in Debt a couple of days ago (in Virginia). It is becuse of a credit card that I got behind on payments. Basically I ran into some financial trouble last year/year before, and then lost my job at the end of last year.
Do I have any options? Do I just show up and hope for the best?

Well, my court date is in a few weeks. I'm debating whether I want to call and see if they'll offer a settlement to avoid going to court, or if I should just go to court, see if they show up (the law office they sent the letter from is about 4 hours away), or if the judge will be considerate.
