Greetings "Unregistered",

Please tell us more information so that the great folks in this fantastic website can offer up some opinions.

You'll quickly realized that you are not alone in your journey.
We've all been there.

Let the forum know how much you are in debt and what your specific situation is.

And by all means, don't be bashful, register up and give us a handle.

Respectfully yours,
King "Kash" Jabba Labba

I was in your same position, not behind but not ever getting anywhere because I finally had to face the fact that the debt was insurmountable.
The hardest part for me was that I struggled and juggled and did everything to not miss a payment and yet the only way to get a CC company to settle with you is to stop paying and get behind. Then they offer.
I am in the early stages of that. have posted lots about it on here.
Good luck.
Kaylee

Hi

When it comes to typical debt settlement terms, there is a simple rule that applies. Credit card companies will only settle debts at a point where they will feel that they are not in financial pain and can be reasonably assured that you be able to make your payments by the new repayment plan.It is invariably a good reason to fall back on payment if you are not able to make them on time!!!!!!!!!
