I wanted to know if the following pdl lenders are legal in the State of MO. I have myself in a bind due to their high fees and am trying to get out of this trap! The lenders are:
Kingston Financial
Beacon Financial
PaydayMax
United Cash Loans
One Click Cash
PaycheckToday

any help would be appreciated!

Paychecktoday is licensed in Missouri. After searching on the Missouri Department of Finance's website licensee search engine I wasn't able to find the others. If any of the ones that I wasn't able to find are storefront lenders, then they are licensed. Even if they are not licensed in MO you will still owe the principal.

Make sure you distinguish the two payday loan companies, one is Paychecktoday and located in Miami, OK, that lender is not licensed to lend anywhere! The other is Paychecktoday aka yourpaychecktoday. and located in MO. You need to re-read your contract to make sure which lender this is. A good way to distinguish the two would be to post what you owed and paid back to them so far, a licensed lender won't charge interest and fees beyond what is permitted by your state law, which is posted at the link below:

Hi,

After a brief research it is found that only CashNetUsa is a licensed payday loan provider in Missouri.I could find no other companies to be licensed. As, you are already in the trap, you will have to pay the principal amount to the different companies, but without the high rate of interest or their high fees!!!!!!!

You need to be more careful about the advice you are giving people, as stated in my above post, the original poster needs to distinguish the two payday lenders from the other. Before you start posting advice to people read the other replies, you may very well be giving advice that could be more harmful then good if they do not distinguish whether the lenders are licensed or not. As I stated before, Cashnetusa was not listed as a lender in question, so your post is irrelevant.

I currently have 3 storefront payday loans in Missouri. Advance America for $178.50 I renewed several times from the original amount of I believe $400.00, Loan N Go for $354.00 I have renewed several times on this one as well. Finally Speedy Cash for $117.00 and I have not renewed this one at all. Like everyone else I fell into the horrible payday loan trap and just trying to keep up with paying interest plus $25 are causing me to get behind on other bills. I just want to know what is the best way to handle getting them paid off? Do I have to let the check bounce before they will work out payment plans that don't charge insane interest?
