I stumbled upon this forum looking for yet another payday loan to pay of payday loans. I started reading the blogs and realized that I am in payday loan hell and the last thing I need to do is try to get more. reading through everyones stories has made me feel at least a tiny bit better knowing I'm not alone. I am horribly ashamed and unable to keep up with my bills or even buy food. I now believe there is hope. I've been through payday loan consolidation firms before but I don't think that is the way to go. It is hard but I actually started some research on what I have borrowed and what I have paid. I have made myself literally sick. Thanks for being here.

God Bless both of you! I am another right in the trenches with you. This forum saved my life (& sanity) also. I considered the PDL loan consolidation- but decided to go it alone. I closed my bank acct, opened a new one & told the internet (illegal in my state) to all take a hike. I am in the process of paying off my storefronts- which has been a struggle in itself. I'm not there yet, but at least there is a light at the end of the tunnel that is not a freight train. Hang in there, We are all in this together & we all help each other. You CAN do this.

Does anyone know if Internet Payday loans are legal in Florida? I am currently ignoring their calls but would love to tell them to take a hike, I have 1 storefront loan which is all you can get in FL thank God. They are working with me very nicely. Langhorne by the way bugged me to death to start thier program they were more annoying than the on line collectors so I didn't go with them

If you'll name the online lenders we can tell you whether they are licensed to lend in your state.

I'd imagine the vast majority of the people at this site have been involved with PDL's to one degree or another. I was there as well; using credit cards to pay for this, PDL's to pay for that, and it just snowballed to the extent where I was using my entire paycheck to pay fees. With the help of this great site and my State financial regulatory agency, I'm getting back on my feet. It's a great feeling!!
