stopped ACH

I just found out from my bank (Wachovia) how to request ACH debits to cease - i filled out the necessary paperwork and requested them to be stopped - i hope it works. I have 4 outstanding pdl's and have had no luck getting any of them to talk to me. i have one with Integrity advance as well, balance finally down to 100.00 - after paying over 1200.00 for a $400.00 loan - i told them i wasn't paying the final 100.00 and they keep trying to debit my account - always before payday so my account gets overdrawn. they have harrassed me at work, and even my co-workers that answer the phone (how embarrasing is that!) - i am at my wits end - i sure hope this helps, but im afraid it's only the beginning and they will come at me full throttle when they are denied access to my account.....

I did that with my bank. ALL transactions were stopped (even checks), debits until my direct deposits were switched over to another account. My account was on deposit status only. I had already opened the new account and when my money came in, I just transferred all but $1. When the new account started receiving the direct deposit, the other one was closed. In the meantime I had notified all my PDLs that the account had been closed.
