I have close to 30k in cc debt with 4 cards - 3 that are owned by chase & 1 FIA.
I have two of the four frozen (1 @ 2% + 1@ 9.9%), the other two are very near maxed and I currently can only make minimum and its killing me.
They tell me it will be paid in like 28 years @ the rate I'm going. I can't make it that long.
My credit score is dwindling and I have been doing this for 3-4 yrs now and I'm reaching an end.
I keep getting John Cummata emails but don't know much about it
Suggestions welcome

I personally am not a big fan of such advertisements. Anyway, you may wait for others' feedback as well.
Meanwhile, you can take a look at the 'do it yourself' section and the ranking chart of the site. It may help you decide better.

Yes, I was in over my head as well. Just like you, I hit a wall and knew that something needed to be done.
Recently, I used a great DIY program and settled $130,000 of unsecured debt for $40,000. The company, removed, is a true consumer advocate - not pushy and very generous with their time.
Total cost for their coaching was $1150. It took about 6 months.
I am blogging about my experience and sharing some of the insights I gathered along the way.
There are a ton of options out there. My experience is that this process doesn't have to cost a lot of money, but it will take a lot time. Do your research and figure out a solution that matches your personality.
Please keep us up to date.
