What's my best option?

So here's a little background. I am obviously behind on my Cap One card, and it's been sent to collections, Portfolio Recovery. I just recieved a warrant in debt from Glasser and Glasser Law Offices (their office is about 4 hours away from where our court location is).
I've never sent a Letter of Validation or anything like that. I haven't had any contact (other than ignoring a couple letters the past few months) with the company.
I just got a new letter saying my court date has been moved to a month later.
What are my best options? Should I try to call and try to make a settlement and arrange payments? Should I go to court and hope for the best?
any help is appreciated.
