Unauthorized ACH Withdrawal Cash Advance Company

Hello please provide a much insight as you can.
So about a year in 3 months ago I filed a Chapter 7 BK. To later learn that the cash advance company was not included in my BK. Last year July I put a stop payment/ACH withdrawal on the check. That is only good for six months!! In January of this year the company found me and starting making collection effort. I starting paying the $25.00 every pay check through verbal agreement over the phone. An issue came up about 2 months ago, I had to put the payments off for a little bit. I guess they didn't want to wait any longer. The process a ACH transaction in the amount of $526.00. Without my approval they didn't to go over with me over anything. I have taken the necessary steps with the bank My question "Is this legal" Do you think the credit union will give me back my money?

Go to the credit union and dispute the charge as unauthorized.

Go to the credit union and explain what happened. Then, whether or not you can get a refund, if it were me, I would close out my account and open a new one so that in the future Cash Advance (or any of their affiliates) couldn't get any more money.

I agree with Pachacutec1, close your account after you've disputed the unauthorized transaction.
