Well I finally did it.....

I blurted out to my wife last night that we are in real financial difficulties.....it was pants, he was great...but I have never felt so defeated, ashamed, useless, a failure etc. It's not like me, but our whole debt situation has got so out of hand. I read all your guys comments to a man last week and it was inspiring. I thought that if he plucked up the courage to tell everyone, then I should do the same.
So thank you, I think your name is Jim, for being my encouragement to act.
So the next step is to go through all our finances and see where we actually stand.
Does anyone have any helpful comments or advice ?
I was going to contact the Citizens Advice Bureau today to try and get an appointment and have read a lot about IVA's, it is all so complicated, I would really appreciate any feedback.
