How many times can a debt collector make contact in a 30 dy period?

It depends on your state's consumer protection laws, whether your state has extended the Federal Fair Debt Collections Act to cover collection agencies and whether they have specified how many times a collector can call. Most states have followed the FDCPA and simply limited the time creditors can call to specific hours during a day and not specified how many times they can call.
