Proof of debt

I am trying to get written proof that I owe the debt that Asset Acceptance is trying to charge me but they refuse to send me any written proof of ANYTHING..what can I do?

File complaints against them with the FTC for not complying with the FDCPA, also file complaints with the BBB and your AG. Keep a copy of these complaints handy because they may claim they sent you debt validation, even though they did not. Have you ever received a dunning letter (letter of collection) via the mail?
