My hubby got us into this trap last spring with assurance that LGF would help us with our credit card debt. We knew that we had that much debt and this was our last hope.
Within two weeks, our account was debited for the fee and it was not until about Sept'09 did we realize that LGF was taking over half of the fee.
They said that they would contact our creditors and work a deal, still taking money from our account. We have call this company on several occasions and have got the "we are here for you and will get this paid this week" only to find out that they were trying to get us off the phone.
Finally, last week, my hubby called yet again and gave LGF until this Friday to paid the outstanding debts. He called yesterday to check on the status and nothing had been done. So, we are done with Lifeguard Financial or whatever they go by now. We were told that we would get all of our money back, I believe that when I see it.
Now, we have to go back to our creditors to see if we can work out some type of payment.
Yes, we have learned our lesson and will take years to build back our credit.
Too good to be true.
I hope these guys can sleep at night!!!!

My husband got into this debt settlement with Lifeguard financial for 2 years now and only to realize that they are not doing their job!!!!! We were summoned by the court in Sept 09 and sent the summons to Lifeguard, we thought that they were going to take care of it but they DIDN'T!!! Now our personal account are frozen due to the citation that we received from one of our creditors. We have to end up filing for bankrupcy because of this....WHAT THE HELL DID THEY DO with the money that has been deducted from our account each month????? We've been paying $419 a month fro 2 years and we only have $3k in our account.
