credit card issue

Several years ago I opened a couple of credit card accounts with my husband's social....he never used the cards, but I was an authorized user and did.....how can I legally have him removed as the cardholder.
Go and open a new card in your name and your social only then do
Go and open a new card in your name and your social only then do a balance transfer from his card to your new one. After that is done you can cancel the card since the balance will be zero.
