Greetings All,

I just discovered this forum and their seems to be such a wealth of knowledge and expertise by so many..I'm looking for suggestions on how, where to start.
My wife and I are closing on a home end of Feb 06'. We've established good credit because we always pay and on time. However, we have 12 cards that have accumulated $23,500. We also have 4 children and really need to get this debt down to be sure meet our mortgage payments.
Or at least get some piece of mind into one payment with lower interest. Anyhow, probably much the same of everyone's problem..So any assistance, recommendation, companies, contacts etc..would be greatly appreciated..
Should we wait a bit?..Does this get reflected on our credit report?..are there better ways etc..etc.

Thanks in advance to all..you truly are all helping each other..

All the accounts included in the program will be combined into one payment and you will be drawing one check towards all your creditors. This program will also reduce most of the financial charges and the interest rates will also lower down. Basically, this program helps to make your repayments easier with your creditors if you are going through tough times.

The consolidation program does appear in the credit report but with a positive note. Since you have problems in paying on your own, it is much better using this option than filing for bankruptcy or debt settlement programs. The latter ones have a severe affect in the CR and can ruin your credit potential.

The lenders see that you have taken the consolidation program to complete your debt accounts and improve your credit ratings. This is the most important factor that increases your efficiency of getting new credit for the future.

You must take a free counseling from the experts and know more on the benefits of the consolidation program.

John,

Thanks for the prompt reply. It is greatly appreciated. I assume you mean the program with this website. I did join the program yesterday after my post and I'm sure I will be getting a call today.
So I guess then that they will advise me of who to contact or is it this website that will be offering me the consolidation program?
I would think that my credit check has already passed on my home since we are out of attorney review now, so I guess it's as good a time as any to join this program.

Thanks Again,
Tony

Hi Tony, :D

This website will direct you to the debt consolidation company that is operating in your area. I was told by my consultant that this website has partnership with some of the good debt consolidation companies all over the US. So, when we entered our contact details in this website including the phone number, the system forwarded our request to the company based on the area. This website is nowhere related in offering the consolidation program to the people.

Have a thorough discussion with the consultant regarding your debt accounts. I am assuming that after taking his consultation, you will feel much better in solving your debt related problems.

I was expecting a call for my credit help on Thursday afternoon after giving all my info and phone numbers. It is now Saturday afternoon. I was wondering how long it usually takes before I get contacted.

I was under the impression that I would be contacted right away. Guess I'm wrong here.
