I just recently paid a hospital bill in full to Americollect a little more than a month ago. Now I'm getting letter in the mail from west asset management for the same bill offering a settlement. I guess I'll have to call americollect and hope they can fax over the info or something because I can't find a confirmation #.

If you have a confirmation number than the funds must have been withdrawn from your account? It might be quicker if you locate the payment on your bank statement.
