I sent Death Certificate, Cancer, but now NCS is involved.
What do you think I should do to stop the harassment.

File complaints against them with the FTC and BBB, the link for the FTC is in my signature, you can do so online, make sure you file a detailed complaint. Look these collection agencies or creditors up at the BBB and see if there are any complaints against them, my best guess is, there is, but please DO file complaints.
You can also send them a 'cease and desist' contact letter to them. If I were you, I would speak to my attorney again and let him/her know this is happening.

To my knowledge, you certainly do NOT have to pay for a debt in her name. A case could be made if the card was used by or for you that the property purchased benefitted you. But that is a stretch.

My mother had the same thing happen. My Dad died and she found several cc that were in his name only. They called for a while and she simply told them that she was not legally responsible, call my attorney and would politely hang up. Then one day they told her that they were going to start calling the kids for the money. My mother told them great - call the oldest one first - she's a lawyer and would be happy to help you. They hung up and never called again.
You are not responsible no matter what they tell you - unless you are on the original application - don't pay it.
