My name is Jack and my EMail is and my car loan is with Santander Consumer. The interest rate is 17.4% with a monthly payment of $529. I am disabled and support a disabled 37 year old daughter. We barely make it from payday to payday. How can I get the APR reduced?
You can't post email addresses.

Need help with these people also. Can't seem to get them to send me a copy of my contract, after 3 years on a loan, I have paid nothingTowards the principal. I owe more actually than what I financed 37 months ago..... Customer service gives a different answer every time you call. This has been going on for 7 months.

I financed my car in 2007 with drive financial, which was bought out by Santander. I have requested a break down of where all monies have went as well as a copy of my contract. I have not received either. I have viewed the website and it tells me I owe 22000 on my car . So my apologies, the original amount financed has been reduced by about 1800. Dollars.... In 3 years. I have a 18 percent interest rate. I have never made 1 payment late that went more than 30 days. And if you are late, god forbid... They will call 20 times in one day. I have a business cell phone that I called them one day from, and they have saved that number and now call me on that number. This will all transpire even after 1 day late. Please note, I am only interested in finding the appropriate way to deal with these people to obtain a copy of the original contract and a break down of all monies of the past 3 years of payments. I too have tried to lower my interest rate with them, they will not. I will also not be able to obtain financing elsewhere as i owe 22 grand on a car that is worth 9000 after 3 years. And... When i purchased this car, I put 6000 grand down.

631 a month for 72 months ( i think) . I have a copy, but I want to see the copies they have . I have read that many others (compaintsboard.com, bbb) notice that what their original contract states is different than what Santander has on file.... With different signatures.

I know this story we are telling you seems far fetched... But, it really is not. If you google this company you will see. Drive financial now Santander . For many of us we are stuck in a Outrageous loan situation we will never be able to get out of. The original contract from the dealer says that there is no grace period on these loans and you will be charged a late fee of 48.50 per day the loan is late. However when I spoke with the rep last week , I was informed I have a 10 day grace period before late fees are charged. So that makes all the mystery money i have paid in 3 years was not in late fees... So where is it all going then? Someone please help, thanks.
