i was dealing with a collection agency but the account was about 150 days or so.Chase still owned the account because i got verification of the deal both from the collection agency and chase in writing and the payments went directly to chase.Does this notation hurt my score?I got a score jump of only 10 points for a 8000 dollar reduction in debt,i was figuring more than that,thanks.
