Store card settlement - World financial bank WFNNB (Alliance?)

Has anybody settled any STORE CARDS with world financial bank? They hold all kinds of store cards from Victorias Secret to Speigel. I have a $5K balance from a furniture store. I am broke and laid off with a medical condition and need to settle.
From looking on the web they might be affiliated with Alliance? Bad thing, right? Can't even tell who to call.
