Due to a traumatic head-injury, I have been unemployed since 2006 and am physically limited in finding work. All my savings are depleated and I am having to file for bankruptcy...I have lost my home due to foreclosure. Can your office suggest any advice?
My name is Joyce and I can be contacted at my mother's email or at phone number removed
Thank you for your time in responding.

ss disability is a very long wait and still may be denied, you have to be all but dead or bedridden to get approved. i know, as i have been fighting them for nearly 5 years, now with original claim at fed dist court awaiting court date, and a newer one at reconsideration level -both in the hands of my atty. i fired my first atty as he did not win my case at alj level. i have 5 of 7 spinal disorders that meet a listing, neuropathy & myofascial pain. still fighting ssa.. so no one should hold their breath and think they will get ssdi quickly.. unless you have cancer diagnosis (that is not curable) you will have to fight for benefits.
