I have a chase cc, i owe 5800.00 dollars, and i was put on ssd. i cant afford $197.00 payments, interest rate is 29%, if i pay the 197.00 only 20.00 goies toward the payoff. If i dont pay them at all, what would they do to me. Could they garish my check from ssd, or could they sue me for the ballance. What should i do?. EMAIL REMOVED PER TOS. thank you.

It is not a good idea to give out your personal email on a public forum.
If you do not pay them at all, then after a certain period as defined by state law and the loan agreement, your creditors can take you to court to collect on the loans. They can use the discovery proceedings to get your financial records and you could end up paying the creditor's attorney fees and court costs as damages. Scary, but true.
Most state laws do not allow a creditor to garnish SSD, a few will allow limited garnishment so you need to check your state's exemption laws.
