Stopping Collection calls

We have a bill collector (we think that's who it is) calling our house at least once a day. They're looking for "Jennifer." We've told them no one by that name lives here and we don't know her and we've asked that they please stop calling us. Is there anything else we can do? I tried calling the number back, but the call doesn't go through.
Any ideas on how to make it stop?

do you call the callback#,or the number in caller id?if the number on caller id then what number comes up?maybe i can find out who they are that way.

Do you know who it is? Google the telephone number from where you are receiving the calls, send them a cease and desist contact letter, and file a complaint against them with the FTC and BBB.

if it does not work,i would send a c & d letter stating that you
if it does not work,i would send a c & d letter stating that you do not know who jennifer is and for them to stop calling you. if they violate that, than would be the time to complain. they probably just have the wrong number and will eventually leave you alone.
