I recieved a call from allied and the connection was bad and the person on the other end could not hear me talking so i hung up, i recieved another call directly after that and the same voice I heard earlier called me a f**** B***** and hung up I tried to call back and got the same person and i ask to speak to a manager and he rufused to help me and hung up. I need help with this matter.

If you have a way to record calls...I would check to see if you can record in your state without telling the other party...then I would record the call you make back to them. If they use that type of language to you again, I would definitely report it. Make sure you get them to say who they are and what it is regarding so you will have proof of how they are acting. That is not legal, and don't let them intimidate you.

allied interstate has the highest number of unprofessional collectors in the company. Each of them do such activities that result violation of the federal laws stated in the fdcpa. You must consult an attorney if you are unable to deal with them.

Send a cease and desist letter to the company's mailing address and stop them legally from calling you at your home. Prefer to be contacted only by mail so that you have options to communicate with them.

The cease and desist letter has its legal importance and no collection agency should contact you after receiving your letter. If they do, it will result violation of the federal laws and you are in charge of taking legal actions against them. Also, write in your letter to validate the debt so that you can verify it.

You must do all your correspondences in writing so that you have a proof of all the actions made from your side. Send your letters through certified mail with return receipt requested. Keep them documented in a file and have proof of the facts.
