Kicked out of Debt Settlement Program

I had insufficient funds for a few days when I was supposed to make my last payment on a debt settlement. When I called a day later to ask them why they had not taken the money out of my account, they told me I was kicked out of the program and now I owed the original amount. I worked really hard to pay them over 1,200.00 over the course of 3 months. Now what do I do?

Unfortunately this is how settlements work....it you dont meet the agreed upon dates and payment amounts, the agreement is voided. I am assuming they sent a check thru and it was returned.
