I have received the very same threatening calls from this company involving an old 'closed' US bank acct.
They actually yelled at my husband and told him if he did not have access to the money, to borrow it from a neighbor or to sell something !!
I called them back and told them I was reporting them to the FTC, the oversight committee, and consumer affairs.
If indeed we owe money, I requested a statement, which was not forthcoming.
I received another harrassing call today, and was threatened with litigation. I screamed at the 'VERY' young man and said bring it on !!!
I have discussed this with our attorney, and she said 'absolutely, do not send money, requested by phone, without accompanying statement.
Where do these people come from ??
I do know that every one I have spoken to, is under the age of 25 at the very most.I also know from a conversation with 'Jordan', that they are located in Colorado.
We need to get then sanctioned!!

Karen, there is a proper way to deal with abusive collection age
Karen, there is a proper way to deal with abusive collection agencies and yelling is not always the right way.
Have you considered sending a debt validation letter to them?
