Alright guys, let's see some good 'intent to sue' letters...

Long story short, I am dealing with a debt collector that's been hounding me for way too long. I have finally gotten to the point where I really have them backed into a corner. when I was first contacted by these clowns, I immediately requested validation and sent a letter disputing the debt. I know they received my validation request letter because they sent me a response letter saying "we have received your dispute". Ever since then, they have called and hounded the daylights out of me. At one point they were calling nineteen times a day. I would call them back(and of course, I would record the call), and I would explain that I disputed within the first 30 days.....their first response was to claim that I never disputed anything. Their second response was to say "oh, well, we did get your dispute but you did it too late, so by law we dont have to stop calling, and we dont have to provide you with anything."

I finally got one of their "floor supervisors" to look in their system, and lo and behold, he actually told me on the call that, "wait a minute, I see right here where you disputed this....looks like youve been telling the truth all along." You would think that after all of this nonsense, they would FINALLY have gotten the point....but no, they have not. Now they call for a couple weeks here and there, and then stop calling for a while. Well, I have had other fish to fry for a while, but now its their turn. I was curious what you guys out there have used for ITS letters, and what response you got with them. Any thoughts??

EDIT--in case this helps, this is a VERY big fish--in other words, this lawsuit will be in the 6-figure area.....their violations of FCRA alone almost put them in the 6-figure territory all by themselves. No, thats not an exagerration either.....:shock:
