scammed?

Signed up with company to consolidate payday loans. Wife and I had 7 loans each and monthly interest was roughly $1000. Just wanted enough time to pay principal. Company said it could set up 9 month payoff. Have sent company almost $4,000 since April 1 and cannot get them to send a statement of our account. Some payday loan companies claim they have heard nothing from consolidation company. Any agency to which I can complain - or any other process I should intitiate:(?
Complain to the BBB, FTC and your state's Attorney General's off
Complain to the BBB, FTC and your state's Attorney General's office. You can handle paying these off on your own. Have you talked with anyone from this company? I'd complain to someone high up and demand a refund if they aren't doing what they've promised. Did you sign a contract? What are the terms?
