I had received a summons from Howard Lee Schiff from a $500 credit card that has now turned into $1700. Unfortunately, I did not know about this fantastic forum until after I answered the judgement and made payment arrangements. I had some personal issues and was not able to make a payment until this month (received the summons in February and made one payment). I was about to make a payment this month when I received another letter stating I had to go to court to avoid a judgement against me which I will be doing, bringing a payment with me. I called the Schiff office and told them this. My question is, is there anything I can do at this point to see the validation of debt? Am I too late to question anything when I go to court? Any help is more than appreciated. Thanks!

Dbll, you have already made a payment. That means that you've acknowledged the debt. Still if you want to know now if the debt is valid, you can request the court clerk to provide you with the paperworks on this case. The paperwork will have all the details on this debt. This will have to be done before the court date.
