LVNV funding has been harassing me for about 2 years now about a charge that none of their collectors have been able to prove, nevertheless, they have now included this issue on my credit report. I have asked on every occasion for a copy of the alleged bill but they
just tell me that they are collecting on behalf of a department store for which I do not even hold a credit card with.
Does anybody have any idea of what I should do to stop these leeches and to clear my credit report ?

Send them a debt validation letter. If they don't produce the evidence of the debt, then send a copy of your debt validation letter to the credit reporting agency along with a letter telling them that you disputed the debt and they never validated.

If angeldoves good advice still does not work, as of July 1st under the new FACTA law (6-312) you can demand validation again through LVNV and the original creditor and they must remove if the cannot prove!
