Addresses of 3 PDL's????

I read on here that an email (a form letter posted by a member whose name escapes me at the moment) sent to them was just as good as a mailed letter. Then I saw a post today (cannot find again.....there are just too many) that said a letter should be sent registered with certified receipt. That does make more sense to me. Can't they just say they did not receive the email, or emails, if I choose to resend? Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!
Also I am filing my complaints (BBB, and Federal Trade Commission online). If these companies ask for proof that I have indeed filed a complaint against them, what do I do?
I am having to write the Attorney General so I guess I will send registered with certified receipt? Also, is there a form letter for that. I have no idea how to compose a letter to the Attorney General about 3 PDL's that are unlicensed. Last question....do I send one letter with all 3 listed, or 3 different letters?
Thank you so much for this site!

I wouldn't bother sending letters certified to illegal lenders, I didn't have any problems whatsoever via email. What purpose does it serve to send illegal lenders certified mail, you can't sue them and they aren't going to sue you because they are illegal, so yes, IMO, an email is just as effective.

I rarely disagree with my good friend Shazz but in this case I must! I am a believer in documentation! Down the road if there is a case with the FTC or you are being threatened by a third party collector it would be advantageous to have a letter with a return receipt! My letter once to a PDL regarding the Electronic Funds Transfer Act got me a settlement through the Attorney Generals office against them! If not for their response to the certified letter I would not have had a case!
Simply my opinion Shazz with all well deserved respect!

Okay, thank you. I guess I will just have to go with my gut. But could you give me any help on the rest of the post?
Thanks

I'll just have to make my on decision I guess. But I sent emails to Ameriloan and 500Fast Cash and have not heard anything. (3 days ago)
Could you or someone help me with the rest of my post (questions) I'm not even sure if I am doing this right. I choose "Answer Question" and I am asking a question!?
Thanks for any further help you can give me.

Guess I never thought of it that way!

It's been awhile since I filed complaints but if my memory serves me correctly, when you file a complaint with the FTC you have to file a separate complaint for different companies. I think the same goes for the other two (BBB & AG) also.
As far as composing a letter, it doesn't need to be anything fancy, just state the facts and include addresses and any other contact information you have for each company.

Thank you....but I have researched and cannot find addresses for Ameriloan and 500FastCash. And I found (if correct) that DiscountAdvances is in Malta.

Do not concern yourself with offshore companies! They can't touch you and you can't do much to them! Just beware of wage assignments you may have agreed to! Tell your HR dept. not to honor them! They are voluntary!
Search the companies in the search box on this page! I am sure you will find what your looking for!
