Hello All. I am just starting my journey to better credit. Earlier this week I pulled my annualcreditreport.com report and today I decided to enroll in MyFICO Quarterly for Transunion and Scorewatch for Equifax. However, while comparing the two reports. Some items are listed on one but not the other.
Which report should I trust more?

Look at both and, if the info is correct, trust both. Some creditors only report to 1 or 2 of the bureaus, rather than all 3.

Why did you choose both the MyFICO Quarter (Transunion) and Scorewatch (Equifax), instead of one or the other?
I'm considering the Scorewatch, but wish it had reporting for at least one other credit bureau and not just Equifax.
Maybe I'm being too cheap and should consider both as well? Did you subscribe to the annual price or the month-to-month price? Since I'm just starting this process, I'm wondering if I should just spring for the annual price to save a little money as I figure I'll need this service for at least a year... Thoughts anyone?

Not all creditors, and collection agencies report to all the three credit bureaus. Thus, reports of the three bureaus may vary. However, can you tell whether or not you've got any discrepancies in the reports from annualcreditreport.com? You can also try to get all the three reports from Myfico.com.

I pulled my three credit reports from annualcreditreport.com last week. Yesterday I put together a spreadsheet for each that lists all the accounts reported and the comments, which I could sort by name. Then I compared all three spreadsheets and there are no major discrepancies between the three. There were 1 or 2 old accounts that were closed maybe 5 years ago that were reported on a couple but not all three, but nothing of significance.
But putting it all in a spreadsheet I could look at it side by side, which was the easiest way to check to see if there were any reporting differences. It was kind of hard because Equifax and Experian don't supply full account numbers, but I could match it up by the credit limits, etc.
