I recently made 5 different payday loans and am unable to pay them back, I am trying to obtain a lawyer for bankrupcy due to other debts, can these pay day loans still take me to court and can they call me or my boss at work and harass me, also can they garnish my check without contacting me first? Also I cannot find the addresses on them some of them may be from third pary companies is there a way to find there addresses. I already closed my bank account they I emailed each of them to try to make some kind of arrangement with them, I should here from them on Monday.

Until you retain an attorney and file the bankruptcy they can contact you. However they cannot garnish you unless they sue you first. You need to revoke your voluntary wage assignment.

Once you file, then they cannot contact you.

Are these internet lenders or local storefronts? Chances are if they are internet lenders they are unlicensed in your state and there is no legal way for them to collect from you or for them to be party to a chapter 7 as the contract is legally void. In otherwords it never legally happend. What state are you in, how much was borrowed, how much have you repaid including fees and interest and who are the lenders? This will help to determine the situation.
