What kind of company is Unld & fsm? If you could have been more specific, it would have been much helpful for the other members in the forum.

I am being harrased by a company unld, a debt collector named a charlie gregg is calling 7 times a day, calling my job, calling family members. Is this company a legit debt collection company? The man can barely speak english, and tells me he is an officer.

I also have been harrassed by a person who claimes is an "officer" Harry Morgan (yes, like the actor). This person calls asking for another person about a debt and even though we have explained that my number does not belong to that person he keeps calling. The last call I received was very threatening to the point that he said "I,m going to f...you" , I hung up and he tried calling a couple more times. I went strait to the police and filed a report. This harrasser has a strong hindu accent and I strongly beleive it,s a scammer. I would suggest everybody to contact police, FBI, etc. After reading so many reports against this number and this person, who obviously changes his name, we can see it has been going on for quite some time. It is time to put a stop to it by taking action. I would personaly love to see this person in prison.

I have been getting harrassing phone calls from this number and he says that he is Officer David Johnson. He has a thick Indian accent and I beleive this is all a scam...Whos is UNLD???

This so-called CA is breaking all Federal laws. They cannot use the word 'Officer' for a debt collector. These people generally call from 863-873-2770 and they call themselves "United Nations Legal Department".

I've also received this call several times a day, for the last 3 weeks. This morning was the first time "officer" Tom Jackson( who I think works for espn) told me he works for UNLD. He told me that there would be very big problems for me if I didn't call him back. He usually calls from a number I can never call back. It's says it's out of service or not available. It either starts with an 863 number but lately it's just been the number "3". Just one number. I'm definitely going to report him. Thanks for all the info.

I have recieved the same kind of phone calls and have been told by the Colorado Attorney General's Office and the Federal Trade Commison that they are aware of this fraud and are gathering as much information as possible to bust them but it is difficult since they are in India. But alert all of your friends that this is a scam and they might be calling to extort money.

I have recieved calls from charlie greg and they change the number everytime they call they want me to fax them my id and card information. this is all scaring me and they said that they were going to show up at my place of residence or work. they have my address and ssn...what should i do?

I have been getting calls from the number 3155515643 and they claim to be an officer. the company is called UNLD and they told me if i didnt work with them and pay they were going to make me pay 4,000 dollars.

Laugh in the phone the next time they call. They will NOT send officers to your door. It is pretty easy in this day and age to get peoples personal information.....they just call up and try to intimidate payments out of people. They are not a legitimate company and very likely are outsourced in India or wherever...which makes it nigh impossible for the law to catch them.

I get calls like this too and when I have nothing better to do I play along for a while until I get tired of it. Sometimes I make them think they are getting a really big payout as I 'scramble around for my checkbook'...then I drop the bomb on them.....I got one guy so mad he cussed me out in....whatever language they speak:):P I told him to quit bellowing like a cow, that he was making me hungry....he got really pissed at that for some reason and just about exploded. Oh well....

Seriously....this is a scam, a very large scam. Do not worry one little bit.

UNLD called my phone today and left 2 messages for my son threatening to take legal action against his social security number and to send officers to the house if he didn't call them back. "Alex Parker" called from 315-551-5643 and 314-627-5523. "Alex" said his direct number was 408-520-2488. It was difficult to understand his broken english. I'm glad I did a search on UNLD and will contact the FTC.

Yeah that "legal action against his social security number" is a huge red flag.
