Unemployed, no means to repay debts, married but without financial compensation, possible seperation iminent, my name is not on deed of residence, desceased spouses name is. Own nothing except a car, Name is on bank account.
Question: Can garnishment of spouses salary be in the Credit Card Company's cards? Can they place a judgement on husband or lein on home or seize bank accounts assets? What other cards will CCC try to play?
Is bankruptcy in the cards I hold?
Advise on my options.

What state do you live in? Most community property states say that unless the debt was before the marriage it belongs to both, and it's the same with property ownership. If you live in a non-community property state then the trends are different. Unless you're in Alaska and get a choice. I can tell you more once I know what state you live in.
