I went to the court house to day to respond to a summons. I was not aware that a response letter needed to be filled out and completed for this response. I assumed they would have a form for me to fill out. I have purchased response forms from the local stationary shop and am looking for sample responses in regard to the debt (owed or not). My plan is to also submit a 'validation of debt' letter to the collection agency. Does anyone have examples of the type of language that needs to be included in this kind of a response...thank you. Marcus

Marcus, to fill up the answer form you can either request the court clerk to help you, or else you can get help from an attorney. As this is a court case, and a much complex thing, I think it is better to consult an attorney. He will be able to guide you in forming the response in the proper format.
