Hoping to settle 2 cards but after reading in this forum it seems 50/50 at best. Can everyone post if they were able to settle and how long past due. Also how long before the sent to collections?

There is no such set time limit within which your account can be sent to collections. It can range from 2-3 months to 6 months. However, the time within which the account goes to collections, depends mainly on the credit card company or the lender.
