My friends Seth has two credit card & HSBC credit card is one of those.
In last month he has purchased iphone 4 by credit card which is the out of his budget. Now, he can't make full payment on time & creditors has charged 200$ as late fee.
I would like to know, there is any way to avoid late fees now or reduce amount of late fees.
If you know any idea Please share with me.
Thanks.

My other thought is for him to try to return the phone? is this at all possible? What is the return policy on the phone? It sounds like he has an expensive credit card for people with poor credit from HSBC and they are socking it to him. Has he tried calling HSBC and talking to them and asking them to reduce his late fees .....can he borrow money from family. It is tough to ask the CCs for a hardship plan when he just bought an Iphone......maybe someone else has some thoughts.....you are a good friend!
