You can check to see if any of your lenders are licensed to lend in your state at the link below, but I don't think any of them are:

Check the link below to make sure none of your lenders are CSO'S (Credit Service Organizations).
https://direct.sos.state.tx.us/cso/csosearch.asp
If none are listed at either site, then none a legal, therefore, CLICK HERE to find out how to deal with illegal lenders.

I have 3 payday laons 1 internet Fast Cash, LTD for $375 original (paid $168).. Ez money storefront $875...( paid $177) and 1Stop finacial services, store front for $300.. (paid $75)... What would i need to do to stop the collection calls to my boss and refrences. I am willing to make arrangements to pay the loans just have run into trouble and cannot afford the all the interest that is occurred every 2 weeks. Is there anything i can do to try and stop them from pulling from my account?

Do you have post dated checks out for any of these lenders?

By the way, check the links above to see if these lenders are legal, I think you will find that Fastcash is not, in that case, the only way to stop them from pulling from your account is to stop them, but if you have post dated checks written, you will need to make payment arrangements with the legal lenders first. In the meantime, you can go into your bank, speak to the branch manager (no one else will do) and place an ACH block on the Internet payday lender per the EFTA law. Just be aware that an ACH block is only a temporary fix for an illegal Internet lender, because they will eventually debit your account under a different name as soon as they discover you have blocked them.

Oh and, I do believe that EZ Money is a member of the Community Financial Services Association of America, which means you are eligible for an extended payment plan. You may want to call them anonymously and ask because once you sign up for an extended payment plan, the interest stops and you can pay it off in four separate payments then be done with it. But they won't tell you about it, you have to ask for it. Read about the EPP at the link below:

I bank with a credit union I have 2 checking account with them. If I am able to close the account that the pdl are linked to then what would I need to do to stop all the calls to my refrences, or if I am calling them 1st to make arrangements will they still call my refrences? I am just more embarassed then anything and do not want my friends and family getting annoying calls.
