Why is it you do not give the option for paying down cc debt as follows?
make one or more "principle payments" over and above the monthly obligation payments.

Huh? We always suggest that borrowers make more than the minimum payment on their credit cards.....anything extra you pay goes to principal...that is a given. However a lot of people can barely afford the minimum, let alone extra principal payments.
