Losing Everything

I do not know where to begin, I feel like we are going to lose everything. We are behind on our car payments and credit car payments and it seems like every month we are "robbing Peter to pay Paul" and in the process we are falling farther behind. What is the appropriate way to being working with our creditors so we do not lose everything?


Nobody is going to judge you so you don't have to explain anything here to anyone, everybody is here to help, but start listing what you owe and interests and stuff so someone can give you advice.
There are many persons here that will help you through this, all I say to you in my part is first get to the cause for your situation and why did this happen to you, after you find the cause then the solution comes. In my case i fell into Payday loans because I wouln't comunicate with my husband, I have decided to change my ways and realized that was the reason for what I did. now I know what not to do anymore to stop this from growing and get to an end with my debt. If you refer to you and your partner as "we" then get together, start a budgeting plan read throught the post and success stories, there's plenty of links and template letters here, so even if no one answers, start reading, you won't believe how many people are out there that are going through the same situation as yours and follow their advice :) i wish you the best!!! and don't loose hope and optimism, everything is going to be fine!!!

No one will judge you in this forum.

But in order to help you, we'll need some generalities regarding your debt.

Tell us how much, to whom and how far behind your payments are.

When I came on this board....I was extremely desparate.....perhaps going to lose my home......while caring for my 83 year old mother with dementia.....so I can tell you to please come back.....read and ask questions. Everyone here has had similar circumstances so you can get some great advice. Thanks to this board, I am almost dug out from my dire financial circumstance and working on my credit score.
