Credit Card Interest rates
Date: Sat, 07/17/2010 - 12:30
My wife and I have too much credit card debt. We recently paid off a major bill, so have an extra few $$ each month. We have been paying large amounts on our credit cards, however when we got over our limit (due to high interest charges), now 2 or 3 of our major credit cards are now charging us 30% each month, makikng it almost impossible to pay down the amount we owe, despite large payments each month. We did a bankruptcy 6 years ago, and wrote off credit cards then. We did NOT intenionally go over our limits on any of these cards, and we don't pay late.
What can we do to get these interest rates down, so we can pay them off?!

Greetings RDC, Well, you could call them and ask for mercy.:ro
Greetings RDC,
Well, you could call them and ask for mercy.
That usually doesn't work.
Or you could try the debt consolidation route.
Lower the interest and pay 'em out.
Or you could try the settlement route.
But if you're current, they ain't gonna listen.
How about listing the debts (in general) and to whom?
We've all been up against the wall and 30% interest is just BS.:evil::evil:
Seems like the ccc's just want to keep us in plastic bondage.
You've got people in here that know what they are talking about.
Respectfully yours,
