I receieved a loan through a company (Pay Day Hooray) for 500 dollars woth ($200) intreast due.
Well due to some unforseen circumstances I was not able to make a payment ontime and emailed my contact with the company to let her know before hand, I asked to be put on some sort of payment plan. She instead suggested that I just take out another loan with the company attaching the contract with her email. So stupidly I did, and lo an behold my job has really slowed and I have a feeling I'm about to be laid off. So today she called me and I asked her was there anyway that I could be put on a payment plan. She told me that payment plans were illegal in MO and in any company who gave me one must have been acting under "choice law".. is this right? Thank you in advance

You can read your payday loan laws yourself at the link below:

I don't know why it would be illegal to set up a payment plan, perhaps it's not their policy, but illegal? Not according to your state laws. Have you tried to contact their corporate office, that is what I would do instead of dealing with a customer service rep.
