Help and possibly a good thing?

Payday was yesterday, and I was going to let the ACH's go through this last week as that would pay the full principal on all but one of them; I thought I may have an easier time dealing with them if what I borrowed was actually paid.
Now I'm confused. The only one that actually debited my account was Cash Advance Networks. I owed them $40 more on the principal, sent two letters. They debited my account twice, once for $400 and once for $120.00! I know I shouldn't be surprised. A) am I just SOL on that $520.00? That leaves 50 bucks in my checking account for the next week.
My other question ~ is it even possible that the other ones just got the letters and stopped debiting? I'm going to go ahead and close the account anyway, but it's going to be hard to do since it's going to go way negative and now I'm in the hole to BofA. Any advice?
BTW, the other ones were
Lakota Cash, Cash Advance Network, starcash, oneclickcash.

I guess also to be more clear ~ the ACH is still in process. My bank says there's nothing they can do because the amount's still pending ~ are they right? Am I too late to stop it? Probably ... stupid. Should have listened to everyone and closed the stupid thing before sending anything.

I would go talk to you bank manager ASAP and explain the situation. I bank with US Bank and had a ACH (from pdl pending). The manager was excellent. She refused the ACH and closed my account.

Update! I called the bank and they explained that they could not block the ACH since it was already in process. However, since the debit was listed as an ACH hold, they were able to lift the hold and release the funds back into my account. She did say that if they receive the slip again that it will be processed and the account will overdraw, but I'm hoping to hound Cash Advance enough that they won't debit again. Either way, yay for the short term, at least.
Any ideas of what to do in regards to them? Would you send another letter to CAN? Forward the other one? Is there something I can do with the bank now to stop this so I don't end up overdrawn with them and unable to close?
Any help is greatly appreciated ~ I know I'm full of questions. Thank you!

My bank told me the same thing, that they couldn't stop it while it was in process. However they said that the next day I could go in and sign an affidavit stating that the charge was not authorized, bring them the letter revoking the ACH and they would take care of it. Good Luck!!

You really need to close your account, there really is no other way to assure the safety of your personal information. Your bank is bound by law to honor your request for preauthorized transfer revocation, per the EFTA, regulation E.

Thanks everyone ~ I am going to close the account. For today, at least, I'm going to take the cash out so they can't put it through again tonight.
Any advice on whether to follow up with CAN again? I'm wondering if another email stating I've filed complaints with the AG and FTC may stop them from trying this again.
OneClickCash, CashStar, Lakota Cash ~ all stopped on one letter?
I am still going to close out my account to be safe, but after sending letters to the above, none of them debited my account. Lakota Cash is the only one who responded, stating it was paid in full but they maintained they were legal and were owed the interest of $487.50. (I paid $120.00 over the principal.)
OneClickCash my account is showing as "unavailable" and is marked as do not lend. THey never contacted me but did not debit from my account.
StarCash never responded but also did not debit this week. I can't believe it would be that easy ~ like I said, still going to close the account to be safe, but just curious if anyone has had experience like this?

I have 7 pdl (internet). 5 of them are illegal to do business in the State of Ohio. Out of the 5, I have not heard back from 4 of them. They all got their letters on July 7. I closed my account also. Strange that they have not contacted me. I hope they won't contact me, but I am not holding my breath.

Did you start another topic? This all seems familiar to me. It becomes confusing when you begin more than one new topic with the same information, so please, if you did start more than one, try to avoid doing that in the future, thanks!

Sorry I didn't mean to double post ~ I actually started this one separately because my other question was dealing more directly with Cash Advance Network and the banking question.
This one I was just more curious than anything, didn't really need advice, just wondering if it was that easy for anyone.
I'm sorry if I messed up the rules :) Still learning. Thanks!

Sweet :) Thanks again ~ I don't know what I would have done if I hadn't found this place. Probably just closed the account and ended up in huge (real) debt to them.
