Welcome to the forums! Did MCM say anything about what it could be about? The only name that comes to mind is midland credit management.
I tried searching through their website, as well as looking through the BBB database, and the only contacts I could find are what I provided below. If this isn't the correct company, please let us know.

The collection department might be trying to collect some past debt from you. After placing the initial communication, the company is required to send the details of the account in writing. If you have not received any details, send a debt validation letter to the company's mailing address. Send your letter certified so that you have records to prove the dates.
The company will be required to validate the debt within 30 days after your request is placed. If the company is not able to give you any info, send a letter of dispute to the CRA with all your proofs. The bureau will run an investigation and if your dispute is found correct, any negative information entered by this company will be removed from your file.
