We have been the payday loan route which helped up get into the bankruptcy in the first place. Two people doing two payday loans every two weeks...you do the math.
We have no other debt but monthly bills and our mortgage.
Crossing my fingers and praying really hard!
Thanks!!
We're here to help people get OUT of debt, not back in to debt.

Shazzers,
I guess you can kind of look at it that way, but I have borrowed money from a lady that runs a drive-thru and I have had to write checks over the amount multiple times a week to get money to deposit into the bank to keep from having more NSF's come through at $32 each. I cannot keep this up. I am borrowing from people at work which is terrible to say the least and I just borrowed from my best friend in the world on Thursday to because we were overdrawn by about $500. The problem is that we have had a lot of car repairs on TWO cars in the last several months in addition to our air conditioner went out at the beginning of the heat wave over a month ago and I have a heart condition and can't be without it....not to mention the medical bills we have. And this is all on top of what I posted previously. We don't drink or smoke or do drugs and are not surviving. I technically have multiple loans out, they just don't happen to be payday officially but the money we are borrowing from everyone has to be paid back on the paydays anyway and I promised my friend that I would pay her back the very next day since i had made arrangements to get an auto title loan on a vehicle that we own free and clear. Even though the young lady assured me that we would be approved, the next day I got notification that they couldn't do it because we were in a bankruptcy even though I had made it crystal clear that we were.....to the extent that we discussed my mortgage payment and I explained that it comes out of the bankruptcy payment. I have to find a way to get this money back for my friend as she is not currently working and needs it back. I would have NEVER even asked her if I would have even dreamed the title loan would not go through. I feel awful. I am hoping you can help with a suggestion of a legitimate company that I can get a short term "consolidation loan" from now. We only owe about $15,000 on our C13.
Thanks!

If you MUST borrow from a pdl, go to a store front lender, do NOT use Internet payday lenders under any circumstances, once they have your personal account information, the world will have it basically.

I am in ohio and they have limits of like $500 that have to be paid back in two weeks. I have spent literally the last 14 hours online trying to find a legitimate company that we could use to borrow from and have been avoiding the sites that don't allow you to call and do it over the phone. We were on the phone with thinkcash and they use FBD to do the actual lending and I was also on the BBB website at the same time trying to check them out. I was reading about how the government was investigating them and asked the lady on the line that was about to take my loan app over the phone and she said "oh that is just somebody fussing that we give credit cards out for you to use your money that we send you". I was trying to read as fast as I could and even though I deperately need the money and the "$104 dollars every paycheck" sounded very doable, I had a eerie feeling to wait. So I told her I was going to check a few things first and hung up. I then typed in Thinkcash into the search engine and I am guessing you have a pretty good idea of what popped up. And then after a few pages of reading beware posts, I happened upon your link and am grateful beyond words that I found you guys and have been thrilled at the way you have been helping people who have gotten themselves into the traps that we were in several years ago. I do not want to go back there but I am spending a boatload of money driving an hour out of my way several evenings a week taking money that I am borrowing and depositing it into the bank branch that is open the latest. I am at a loss as to how to fix this. I do not want to use any payday lending at all.

Do you have a relative who could provide you a loan? Internet payday loans are illegal in the state of Ohio, and honestly, when you start borrowing from Peter to pay Paul it's bound to come back and haunt you. You might also want to consider a CCCS, I used one in the Newark, Ohio area many years ago, with much success. It was a non profit organization and a life saver, for me.
Ummmmmm....Definitely no on the relatives. I will just leave it
Ummmmmm....Definitely no on the relatives. I will just leave it at that. If they are illegal the Internet Payday Loan people still make them? That doesn't sound quite right. Also, isn't every purchase we make on credit robbing Peter to pay Paul. I don't have the money for "this" so I will "rob" American Express to "pay" Kohl's. Then I will "rob" my checking account to "pay" American Express. With fees tacked on no less...... Then I will "rob" my savings because I don't have enough for food and to "pay" American Express. Then I will "rob" American Express to "pay" for food. And it goes on and on.....
In addition, I believe it is to the point where we need to call in Ghostbusters on the haunting thing!!
Thank you for the suggestion about CCCS. I will check and see if they will help someone who is currently in a bankruptcy. By the way, I have no credit cards so the above is just and example. ;)
Thank you again for all of your help and your obvious concern for someone you don't even know.
