Can anyone help me? I recieved a summons from a creditors attorney and everything looks correct, EXCEPT the case number on the summons does not match the case number in the court records. I cannot afford an attorney, can anyone tell me how to handle this?

According to the law, the debt collector or the collection agency cannot be confusing with their words in their attempts to collect a debt. You can call upon the court clerk and appeal against the matter. Although, I think this will not have any impact on your case.
