Intrest Charges

I owe original lender 400.00 on close credit card account, collection agencies state; I owe them 1200.00 is this legal? Account 2007 from a bank no longer furnish the credit card.

Yep. unfortunately they do have the right to charge you interest until you pay it back. It stinks but if you can pay them now, call them and offer them a settlement amount and see if they will take it as payment in full.
