So I'm at work today and one of my coworkers tells me that I have a phone call on hold. (I'm a waiter, so of course this is a pain in the middle of my shift.) It's a gentleman named Steve Rodgers from Sullivan and Randolph calling me concerning a loan I owe.

He said the loan was from January of 2008 and it was using a bank account I had to shut down because these bloodsuckers were taking all they could. I refused to say that the loan was mine and told him I would go to the bank and get my old paperwork so I could see what he was talking about.

Rodgers told me the supposed loan was from BMG...or SSM Group. He said depending on where I would have gotten the loan online they go through lots of sites and have different names. (Nice.) He said that the original loan was for $400.00 but it is now $846.67. He said that they'd be willing to give me a discount, but if I worked something out with him quick...he could get me a bigger discount. (Of course.) I asked him for his fax number and he asked me why I needed it. I told him because I've been getting lots of scam calls recently from overseas trying to get my info. I told him I'd get back to him once I looked into it. He said supposedly SSM was looking to take me court if they didn't get their money.

It looks like Sullivan and Randolph has a F rating from the BBB. It also looks like lots of collection abuse on their part according to the 800 Notes and websites like it. I also live in Florida if that helps on how to proceed with these guys. (If I remember correctly from past research, SSM isn't even legally allowed to lend online in Florida.) Thanks for any help.

First of all, PDL is a civil issue and criminal cases on PDL are prohibited in your state. And yes, SSM is not licensed to lend payday loans in Florida. Don't pay a penny more that the actual amount you borrowed from the lender. Moreover, if you're not sure of the person calling you about the loan, don't pay at all (as of now).

Oh, I'm not paying a cent more than the original $400.00. What's funny is that I keep telling these payday loan bloodsuckers that I found out that they're not licensed in Florida and that I won't pay a cent more than what they lent me. They accept it but then never give me their addresses to send the money. Sorry guys, but I'm not giving my debit card info to anyone over the phone.

I'm gonna have to get my old statements asap. I'm sure I've already paid these guys plenty.

btw there are no legal internet pdl's in florida.meaning this is non-collectable,and non-enforceable.file a police report for the calls as the cretin broke the law hand over fist.next use the phone number, and name of the bottomfeeder(that is what they are)and file AG,and FTC complaints against them.then when the losers call again hang up without a word.repeat until they get the hint.above all file the report, and complaints.

Here's another question. What letters should I fire off to Sullivan and Randolph after reporting them? I was going to send out a C&D letter...but should I even waste time sending a DV letter? If so, should I add anything into it about the debt not being legal in Florida due to them not being licensed?

BAD BOYS, BAD BOYS, WHAT YA GONNA DO? WHAT YA GONNA DO WHEN THEY COME FOR YOU?!

Have you been called by these people?

SULLIVAN & RANDOLPH LAW FIRM? 1-877-777-9122
STERLING & ROBERTS LAW FIRM? 1-877-904-1716

These are two so called law firms that I have done some investigating on and they are both from same SCAM artists. They are so called located in North Carolina somewhere but who knows. I have checked the addresses they say they are at but none exist with these names. They have threatened me and violated my rights. I have called the FEDERAL TRADE COMMISION and they told me it is a SCAM. They will send my information about these jokers to law inforcements that deals with these types of issues. They also told me NOT to give them any information about anything. They told me to also get my credit report to see if they violated anything. Help is on the WAY!

Here are the names that you must watch out for.

1.) ATTORNEY ASHLEY WILLIAMS?

2.) JAMES ALLEN?
