Settled all my accounts..now what?

What is the next step? When does this get reflected on my credit report (just the last one a week ago..previous one was 4 months ago)? How can I get my credit back to a respectable level?

When you negotiated for the settlements with your creditors, did you ask them to report the account as 'Paid in full' in stead of 'Settled'? I hope you've done it. The main thing is, debt settlement process dents your credit score and your scores will improve after at least 12 months of regular payments. From now onwards, be a responsible card user and make your payments on time. You might be able to restore your score pretty soon.

Start disputing the debts on your credit report. Google "credit repair" for advice. Don't use a company to do it, most are scams. You can do it yourself. If you keep disputing, they will eventually fall off, even though it might take years.
